Our first meeting is about three months ago. That time, she was just American woman but the big smile made her the most special person among people who I’ve met so far. We meet every Sunday. Our meeting is starting with BIG and LONG HUG ending with compliments. Nobody can imitate us. We can share our love each other by deep hugging. I am sure She is one of the most adorable women in the States.

RBW: What do you do these days? I mean what’s your job?
Angie: I am a volunteer with different international ministries. Director of the ESL program at Westminster, and table host at Dinner and Discovery, a ministry of Reformed University Fellowship International at Georgia Tech. Also, a very active grandmother, I enjoy taking care of my granddaughters when my daughter works as well as other times. I enjoy sewing in my spare time.

RBW: I know that you work as volunteer at ESL in Westminster Presbyterian Church. So you have plenty of opportunities to meet international people. Can you compare them by their fashion styles??If so, could you tell me small tips how to do?
Angie: I prefer not to distinguish between nationalities, but will comment on some tips to determine appropriate fashions.  Someone who is fashionably dressed is usually "put together".  This means that their clothing, jewelry, shoes and any other accessories are coordinated by color, style (dressy, casual, sporty, etc.) and fit.

RBW: I think you love and enjoy fashions because your styles are always good. Unless you are not interested in fashion styles, you could not make yourself look good like now. Is it right?
Angie: Yes, I do care about how I look and what impression it will make on others.  My style is more traditional, not necessary the latest fashion.

RBW: I think you can be involved in elderly group. It means you have more great experiences than young people. Could you explain the differences between when you were teenagers or young generations and when you are now?
Angie: When I was a teenager I was more concerned about how I looked and name brands, etc.to be accepted by my peers.  There was a lot of pressure to where certain styles and brands to "fit in".  As I have gotten older, I am more interested in simplicity.  Nice clothes that fit my lifestyle.  I find a quality brand that I like and basically shop there. Not so concerned with peers opinions so much but still want to make a nice impression.

RBW: I think there are different fashion styles depending upon T.P.O (Time, Places, and Occasions). If you think similar to me, Could you explain your rules?
Angie: I believe place and occasion determine style more than time with the exception of a wedding which is usually considered very formal after 7 p.m.  If you have been invited to a party, etc. there will usually be a dress code listed on the invitation and you would want to follow that.  Some that are common today are "Back Tie" (very dressy), and dressy casual (dressier than church and with a flair).  These are just a couple of examples.  Another common dress attire is "business casual".  People in general are a little more relaxed with dress these days.  So you can go somewhere and see people dressed differently at the same function.

RBW: If you were fashion designer, How about my fashion styles as the view of critic?
Angie: You are very fashionable and are fortunate because you can wear many different styles and look good!

RBW: Could you give some advices about uncomfortable styles and unmatched styles to American? For example, I go to the church with wearing sneakers. I think this style is not etiquette.
Angie: As I mentioned earlier, you want to coordinate all aspects of your dress and accessories. On Monday for ESL, it is fine to wear sneakers.  But if you are dressed up on Sunday morning, then you would not want to wear them. Han has a great fashion sense. He is always well coordinated/matched. In the south, styles are more conservative. For instance, it is considered "improper" to wear white shoes or white pants before Easter and after Labor Day. Some people do not care anymore but most southerners continue this tradition.

RBW: Thank you for sharing your sweet voice with me, Angie. I look forward to listening to your passion for fashion again next time.

Look around! Choose one person! Find something you are interested in! And Approach them and Give compliments! Giving compliments is the best way to express your opinion which you are fascinated in. If you want to share your ideas with someone who might have same interests, how about showing your attention as a strong sword (compliments)?

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS: Thanks to Westminster Presbyterian Church, for giving a shelter to meet Angie and RedBluE WavE (aka Minhee Park) for sharing our love each other. Loving appreciation to the first interviewee, Angie. Your cooperation must be the first step on my blog same as Apollo’s the first footsteps on the Moon. Tips for Garage Sales Do not forget your missions of this bargain. Save your money and Save your style.
To become a Wise Customer
If you decided to look around garage sales on your weekend, here is essential tips while negotiating prices with sellers. Set a specific goal! Before you start up your car, you have to keep the goal of shopping in mind in order to avoid over-purchasing everything you want to buy. Make a list. For example, when you want some goods due to good deal, it will be a law which controls spending and prevents your house from a NEW small garage market. Everything is negotiable. Most of goods are used before they show up on yard. It means their price is up to sellers. It must be worthy to spend your efforts into getting favor from the seller with reasonable price. One more thing! If you were looking for a big piece such as furniture, large sport equipment, and an electronic lawn mower, take measurements of spaces before you purchase. Most of garage markets don’t put return policy on a casher table. It means you can’t return goods you already paid by garage sales because the owner has been changed to you! Be a wise customer and time consuming person before making a payment.

To become a “EARLY BIRD
The early bird gets the more worms than any others, which can help to prevent leaking money from your wallet. Be the first! Absolutely important! The items you want to buy are not waiting for you. Once someone purchases goods, it’s gone and it’s not yours. Make in a line by yourself before the sale starts. You must be the head of line. Visiting on the first day of sales is one of the critical strategies. They think the same way as you. People love items as if you like them. If you have time for just one day which is the last day of garage sales, you’d better looking for new sales. It will be a useful advice for you because you won’t waste time looking around among the second stuffs.

Most of the garage sales open to public which have an opportunity to access information easily. Just bring your own bag to hit more sales early on. But dear my fashionable passengers, Do NOT forget your styles!! If you were bewitched by low prices, your fashion would be gone. Remember! You can “Kill two birds with one stone” You can “Catch styles with cheap price” since you are one of the wisest passengers on my boat.
